The Clean Team Finishes Advanced Training!
Debbie Sherman-Hurst (left) and Shelley Parsons (right) have more than 45 years of combined experience and have worked at Yampa Valley Dental since its opening in 1998.
They are the first hygienists in Northwest Colorado to be certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry with a Class II certificate.
Both Debbie and Shelley along with Drs Jim and Wendy (shown below) recently attended advanced dental training at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (lvidentist.com) where they learned advanced techniques using the diode laser.
Yampa Valley Dental has utilized the laser in many dental procedures including soft tissue management. The diode laser has been shown to be very effective in the fight against periodontal (gum) disease. Again, the Yampa Valley Dental Team leads the way in a "High Tech High Touch" approach to delivering "Exceptional Dentistry" to residents and visitors of the entire Yampa Valley!
